Seeeduino V2.21 is an Arduino-compatible board with the same form factor that has been used since the Diecimila. It is completely compatible with existing Arduino programs, shields and of course the Arduino IDE (select Arduino Duemilanove 328 in the IDE).
Advantages over Arduino
The I/O pins are available not only in Arduino shield-compatible female headers, but also in through-hole pads with a corrected 0.1" spacing so you can use standard prototyping boards when designing your own shield. Additional through-hole pads are available for I2C and UART pins.
The board features two slide switches. One sets VCC to 3.3V or 5V; the other is to select manual or automatic Reset (use Auto when programming). The Reset button is much more conveniently placed than on the original Arduino — it faces out the side, so you still can press it when a shield is plugged in.
Power can be provided via a 2-pin JST connector with 2.54mm pitch (7-13V recommended to on-board 5V regulator) or via the mini-USB connector.
