Basic breakout board for FTDI's FT232RL popular USB to UART IC. The FT232RL features an integrated internal oscillator and EEPROM VCCIO (output Vcc) is tied to 3.3V on this board through a solder jumper. You have the option of clearing this jumper and tying the VCCIO pin to 5V if you need to interface to 5V logic. Board comes assembled with IC and mini-USB connector as shown.
