This kit uses QTI infrared emitter/receiver modules to enhance the line-following capability of the Boe-Bot. Mount three or all four of the included sensors to the underside of your Boe-Bot chassis, and adjust the position to detect lines of different widths. Learning to use the QTI is easy with the illustrated instructions and example BASIC Stamp code provided. This kit includes all the circuit and sensor hardware you need to add QTIs to your Boe-Bot. The QTI sensors are designed for close-proximity infrared detection. Use them as a digital sensor array to detect black lines in order to follow courses that you make (ideally black electrical tape on a white poster board), or to navigate mazes. They also can be used as an analog sensor to detect shades of gray. This is not a complete robot! This is a modification designed for the Boe-Bot. QTI Sensor Kit Assembled on Boe-Bot The first picture shows the underside of a Boe-Bot with three of the QTI sensors attached. The second picture shows the top of a Boe-Bot with all four QTI sensors attached. Boe-Bot QTI Sensor Kit Contents - Four 10K 1/4W resistors
