This board includes an LM7805 5V/1A voltage regulator and an MC33269DT–3.3 3.3V/800mA, Low Dropout Voltage Regulator, providing fixed supply voltages. It features two voltage input options: a screw terminal connector, and an AC/DC adapter connector. It can operate on 8-16V AC/DC power supply and has separate screw terminals for 3.3V and 5V outputs. The board also has mounting holes for easy integration into your product.
This board's diode bridge of four 1N4007 diodes acts as a rectifier when using an AC input, and as polarity protection when using a DC input.
Solderless setup for powering 3.3V or 5V systems This board is very handy when you need to supply power to systems that demand a regulated 3.3V or 5V supply. For example, there are a few boards we carry that require a regulated 5V supply, but our universal power supplies WA-VAR-US and WA-UNI don't have a 5V setting. You can use this regulator board with them (set the power supply to the 9V or 12V setting). For systems that have a 2.5mm barrel power jack, connect the PWR-CABLE 2.5mm barrel jack adapter to this regulator board's output screw terminals. For systems that have a 2.1mm barrel power jack, use two wires to connect from this regulator board to the PRT-10287 2.1mm barrel jack adapter.
