Power-over-Ethernet Injector Module, 9-24V US$13.93

MOD-POE
Power-over-Ethernet Injector Module, 9-24V

This Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) module allows you to add PoE capability to your non-PoE Ethernet Switch, Hub or PC. By using this module you can then remotely power a POE capable Ethernet device over the Ethernet cable.

The module has a 5.5mm outer, 2.1mm inner barrel power plug to which you connect an optional 9V-24VDC power supply.

The RJ45 Ethernet connector, which is located next to the power connector, accepts the connection coming from your non-PoE capable Ethernet Switch, Ethernet Hub or PC.

The RJ45 Ethernet connector on the opposite side passes the Ethernet signal plus power to your PoE-capable Ethernet device. This module is not IEEE802.3af compliant. It was designed to be used with devices like the PIC-MICRO-WEB.
