16 x 2 Alphanumeric LCD Module


This module includes a connector to plug directly into the STK200 and STK300 starter kits. Alternatively, you can use a CAB16RIB150 cable or jumper wires (M-F or F-F) to connect to your own device.

It features a transflective STN type LCD, which provides excellent viewing angles and high contrast.

16 x 2 Alphanumeric LCD Module Features

  • Intelligent, with built-in Hitachi HD44780 compatible LCD controller and RAM providing simple interfacing
  • 61 x 15.8 mm viewing area
  • 5 x 7 dot matrix format for 2.96 x 5.56 mm characters, plus cursor line
  • Can display 224 different symbols
  • Low power consumption (1 mA typical)
  • Powerful command set and user-produced characters
  • TTL and CMOS compatible
  • Connector for standard 0.1-pitch pin headers
