DIP PCB with Copernicus II GPS Module and SMA Connector

This board features a Trimble Copernicus II GPS module and gives you access to that SMD module's pins in a DIP form factor. The board also has an impedance-matched, end-launch, standard SMA connector for attaching an antenna such as the GPSANT or GPS-00177.

The board measures 1.1 1.25 inches. The pin rows are 0.9 inches apart, which would make them breadboard-friendly. Header pins are not included.

Copernicus II GPS Module Features

The Copernicus II GPS module is a complete drop-in, ready-to-go receiver that provides position, velocity, and time data in your choice of three protocols:
  • Trimble's powerful TSIP protocol offers complete control over receiver operation and provides detailed satellite information.
  • The TAIP protocol is an easy-to-use ASCII protocol designed specifically for track-and-trace applications.
  • The bi-directional NMEA 0183 v3.0 protocol offers industry-standard data messages and a command set for easy interface to mapping software.
