With the TFT Plus Designer Kit for STM32 M4, you can focus on the design of a TFT GUI for an STM32F407ZGT6-based multimedia board.
It bundles the mikromedia+ for STM32, a stylus for its touchscreen, a mikromedia+ for STM32 Shield, a 2GB microSD card with adapter, and a license of the Visual TFT design software.
mikromedia+ for STM32 Overview The mikromedia+ for STM32 is a compact development system with lots of on-board peripherals which allows development of hand-held devices with multimedia content. The central part of the system is the 32-bit STM32F407ZGT6 ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller. The mikromedia+ for STM32 features integrated modules such as stereo MP3 codec, 4.3-inch TFT 480×272 touch screen display, accelerometer, microSD card slot, buzzer, IR receiver, RGB LED, PIN photodiode, temperature sensor, 2.4GHz RF transceiver, Ethernet transceiver, 8Mbit Flash memory, RTC battery, Li-Poly battery charger, etc. The board also contains a mini-B USB OTG connector, power screw terminals, On/Off switch, and more.
The board measures 119.54 × 78 mm (4.71 } 3.07 inches). All unused microcontroller pins are available via pads along the sides of the board (header pins are provided loose). These allow you to add the mikromedia+ shield that is included in this kit.
A color user manual and code examples are included. The board comes pre-programmed with a USB bootloader, so no external programming hardware is required. If you do want to, pins and pads are available for installing a JTAG header compatible with the mikroProg-STM32 programmer/debugger.
The system is powered by your PC via USB. Simply plug in the USB cable and the TFT display will turn on automatically. It also can be battery powered.

mikromedia+ for STM32 Shield Overview This shield allows you to expand the base functionality of the mikromedia+ for STM32. It provides four sockets for connecting mikroBUS add-on modules, plus a physical layer for CAN interface (with screw terminal connector), an RJ45 Ethernet connector, and a USB-UART module (with mini-USB connector). The kit comes with headers for you to solder onto the mikromedia+ board and sockets for you to solder onto the shield.
The shield also provides screw terminals for an external power source (5-12V DC), and two additional grounding points. The notch cutout on the PCB maintains access to the JTAG header on the host mikromedia+ board.

Visual TFT Overview Visual TFT is a standalone application used for rapid development of graphical user interfaces for TFT displays. The software generates code compatible with mikroElektronika compilers for all supported MCU architectures. Visual TFT implements an intuitive environment and many drag-and-drop components which can be used for building applications easily and fast. Upgrades to the Visual TFT software are free for life.

Bundle with Compiler and IDE Available If you want to be able to develop software for the mikromedia+ board as well, you should instead purchase one of the TFT Plus Developer Kits which are available with a BASIC, Pascal or C compiler and IDE as well as an in-circuit debugger.
