Atmel AT91RM9200 (ARM9) Linux Box, USB Host/Device, Net US$299.00

Matrix-500
Atmel AT91RM9200 (ARM9) Linux Box, USB Host/Device, Net

Linux-ready ARM9 board in sturdy metal enclosure with 1x 10/100Mbps Ethernet, 4x serial, 2x USB ports

The Matrix-500 is a small Linux-ready ARM9-based computing platform for embedded applications that don't require video output. It comes equipped with one Ethernet port, four TTY (serial) ports, two USB host and one USB client ports, plus an internal SD memory card slot for adding up to 4GB of extra storage. The entire package measures only 78 x 108 x 25 mm. It comes with Linux 2.6.x pre-loaded, and it supports versatile file systems. You can operate the Matrix-500 the same way you would a normal Linux desktop.

The Open-source GNU Tool Chain, including C/C++ cross-compiler and POSIX standard C/C++ library, is bundled with the Matrix-500 and already installed. The software drivers include support for adding an IEEE 802.11b/g WiFi USB dongle to use wireless Ethernet.

The Matrix-500 serial ports use RJ45 sockets. We have a RJ45 to Sub-D 9 female adapter available that in combination with a RJ45 Ethernet cable allows you to connect these serial ports to a standard RS232 connector on a PC.
