This kit includes the M521 Dual-Channel Digital Storage Scope with Roll Mode software license, probes, and a carrying case. The M521 is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interface. It is connected to a computer using standard USB 2.0 cable and is powered via USB. The maximum power consumption is 2.25W, making this instrument usable with battery-powered notebooks.
The device has a metal casing which can withstand rough manipulation and is fully recyclable.
The M521 offers precise electronic engineering and automated calibration processes during manufacturing. Each kit contains a traceable calibration certificate. Since the M521 device uses USB 2.0 for communication (with automatic fallback to USB 1.1), it provides you with high refresh rates comparable to stand-alone devices.
The time base in 1:1 display mode (no zoom) is settable from 10ns/div to 100ms/div in sequence of 1-2-5. It is possible to set the time base from 1ns/div to 800ms/div using different zoom settings.
Software The basic package contains complex yet easy-to-use oscilloscope software (Scope). Scope allows you to control the oscilloscope, use advanced functions (such as FFT, persistent display mode, mask testing) or export the data. The Spectrum Analyzer software is the part of the basic package as well.
This kit also includes a license for Roll Mode software, which allows you to acquire data as fast as 5MS/s and store them directly to the hard drive. You can use either the viewer to analyze the data, or export tools to analyze data in third-party applications.
