MRF1611 RF Module Host Board Features

  • 50 mil headers for connection of MRF1611 RF modules
  • All available MRF1611 port pins exposed at headers
  • Prototyping area
  • Footprint for adding optional RS232 interface adapter
  • 2x AAA power supply via TPS60210
  • Optional lab power input via terminal block
  • JTAG+ header for programming and optional BSL access
  • I2C header with optional 10k pullups
  • VeREF+ and VeREF- conditioning with 4.7uF caps
  • 4 user switches
  • 50k potentiometer for analog experimentation
Note: This board does not have a microcontroller; it is a host board for RF modules such as the MSP430F1611 Packet Radio Module with Chipcon CC1100.

Optional Debuggers/Programmers

This board features a JTAG+ header which allows you to program a hosted RF module's MSP430 microcontroller using either JTAG or BSL algorithms.
