Prototype board with Texas Instruments MSP430F249 microcontroller; JTAG in-circuit debugging and programming port; RS232 port; and extension header connectors providing easy access to every pin.

MSP430F249 Prototype Board Features

  • MCU: MSP430F249 with 60 kBytes Program Flash, 256 Bytes data Flash, 2 kBytes RAM
  • TI MSP-FET compatible 2x7 pin JTAG connector (top view, connector on PCB)
  • RS232 driver and DB9 connector
  • 32.768 kHz oscillator crystal
  • Socket for optional high-frequency crystal (not included)
  • RESET button
  • User button
  • Status LED
  • Power supply LED
  • RST/NMI pin pull-up
  • Jack for external AC or DC power supply
  • Extension headers for each MCU pin
  • Prototype area with 0.1" step, Vcc and GND bus
  • PCB: FR-4, 1.5 mm (0.062"), green soldermask, white silkscreen component print
  • Dimensions: 100 x 80 mm (3.9 x 3.15")
