The selection table below lists the 8051 emulator componentsthat are required to emulate a particular SST 8051 derivative and package.

Some emulators for the SST89 series of microcontrollers are built from three modules: A Main Board, an exchangeable POD board and an exchangeable Package Adapter. Those emulators have an entry/link in each column of the table below. You need to order at least one main board, POD board and package adapter to receive a complete 8051 emulator.

Another type of 8051 emulators combine main board, POD and package adapter onto a single board. These are called dedicated emulators, as there is no exchangeable "POD" to support different 8051 derivatives. With those types of emulators you only need to order the component listed under the "main board" column to receive a complete 8051 emulator.

• Locate the part number of the 8051 microcontroller you want to emulate in the "Target MCU" column of the table below.
• In the row associated with your target MCU, click on the links for "Main boards", "POD" and "Package Adapter" to buy and/or to view a detailed description and the price of each module. Each separate row starting out in the "main board" column represents a valid emulator module combination.
